Pulenta family: four generations of winemakers. Bodega Vistalba was founded in Mendoza in 2003. It was built on one of the family estates and its name is a tribute to the land that gives it a home: the terroir of Vistalba, in the heart of Luján de Cuyo, in Mendoza. Today, the General Management is in charge of the fourth generation, led by Paula Pulenta.
The Pulenta family's long history, its historic vineyards and its modern viticultural techniques give rise to this family project of elegant and authentic wines, on a par with the great wines of the world and with their own identity.
It was built between 2001 and 2004 on a family estate in the heart of Vistalba, Luján de Cuyo. It is there where Carlos Pulenta developed his personal wine project that involves members of his family, advisors, winemakers and a valuable group of connoisseurs of his land.
The winery is inspired by Creole culture, using state-of-the-art technology and paying homage to the traditional method of winemaking. It has been designed so that the entire winemaking process is done by gravity and without the use of pumps.
