PINOT NOIR '20
ESTATE VINEYARDS: SOURCED EXCLUSIVELY FROM TE MATA ESTATE'S OWN VINEYARDS, ESTATE VINEYARDS WINES REPRESENT THE BEST QUALITIES OF THEIR VARIETY, VINTAGE AND ORIGIN IN HAWKE'S BAY.
VINEYARDS: Estate Vineyards' Pinot Noir '20 was harvested between 26 February and 9 March 2020 from Te Mata Estate's own vineyards in Woodthorpe Terraces.
WINEMAKING: Each lot was destemmed and underwent a traditional warm-soak fermentation. The resulting wines underwent extended maceration on skins before pressing. The separated wines were then transferred to a blend of new and used French oak barrels for 11 months maturation.
AGEING POTENTIAL: Delicious now, Estate Vineyards Pinot Noir '20 will continue to evolve in the bottle for two to four years from harvest.
