Litoral Vineyard Pinot Noir

PINOT NOIR LITTORAL 2019
This is our second Pinot Noir in the line. It is harvested 2 to 3 weeks later than the Cartagena Pinot Noir in order to obtain a wine with more body and complexity, more structure, colour and flavour. This is a great Pinot Noir, with aromas of bright cherry and red fruits, with notes of fresh blueberry and a hint of smoke. The flavours are distinctive, with plenty of structure and firm acidity supported by red fruits. Lingering finish.

VINIFICATION
Harvested by hand in the last week of March. All the bunches go through a rigorous manual selection on a shaker table. Cold maceration for 2 days and fermentation at 24°C, with 40% of the blend with native yeast and the remaining 60% with commercial yeast. Two hand punchdowns daily. The 100% of the blend is barrel aged for 16 months. No new barrels are used. Lightly filtered before bottling.
