Tannat RPF (Personal Reserve of the Family) from Bodega Familia Pisano, in Progreso (Canelones, Uruguay). Grapes harvested by hand on the less productive plots of the family. Arid-calcareous soils and a cool temperate climate. 100 % Tannat. Aging for 10 to 12 months in French oak barrels and about 6 months in bottle. Very intense garnet-red color. Nose of very ripe red and black fruits, spices and black chocolate. Concentrated, powerful and tannic mouthfeel, with plums and raspberries and a long, dry finish. Year 2018 release.
