ALBA DE ANDES
Albariño 2022

Albariño variety, emblematic of the Rias Baixas designation of origin.
(Galicia, Spain). First wine of this variety bottled in Chile in 2015.
Vineyards planted on trellises in 2010 and located at 750 m.a.s.l. with a marked influence of the altitude, with its cold winds from the Andes Mountains and its wide thermal oscillation.
The grapes were harvested and selected by hand in the vineyard in 12" boxes.

In the winery, the bunches were destemmed and the grapes were pressed in a vertical press.
The wort fermented spontaneously for 24 days without the use of commercial yeast or
nutrients in order to preserve the natural character of the vineyard.
Finally, the wine was aged for 10 months in contact with its lees (borras) of
fermentation.
Bottled unfiltered in January 2023.
