Torrontés from Bodega El Porvenir de Cafayate, Laborum line from Parcela, from block 10 of the El Retiro estate in the Cafayate Valley (Salta). El Retiro is the oldest vineyard of the winery, with vines grown in parral and many vines over 65 years old. Light and refreshing white wine, with aromas of lime and lemon accompanied by subtle floral notes. Smooth mouthfeel, with lively acidity and a smooth finish. Year of harvest 2021.

Loose aromas of fresh and fruity character reminiscent of lime and lemon, with floral notes.
Yellow-greenish colour.
Fresh, medium acidity. Repeats the citrus zest. Somewhat mineral, with a light texture and floral finish.

VINEYARDS: The Torrontés vines of Finca El Retiro were planted in 1945 in Cafayate and trained on vines. The sandy soil naturally regulates the vigour of these old vines, naturally balanced by their age, low yields and small bunches of berries.
LOCATION: Cafayate, Salta, Argentina, 1650 metres above sea level.
AGRICULTURAL ENGINEER: Daniel Guillén.
VARIETY: Torrontés 100%
WINEMAKING DATA: Manual harvest, whole cluster press, natural debourbage and fermentation with selected yeasts in cement eggs. The 20% of the must ferments with the whole bunch (with stalks). Pour-off in the first third of fermentation, pressing of the cluster and continuation of fermentation. The wine remains on its lees for 8 months in a cement egg. Lightly filtered and bottled.
AGING POTENTIAL: 5 years.
