Scented notes of strawberry and raspberry with some dark cherry and blackberry at the base. Hints of Chinese spices, rhubarb, undergrowth and wet earth, with a sigh of matchstick.
Ruby red colour.

Harvest 2021
After a rainy winter, the season developed with wetter than normal spring conditions. This regular rainfall helped establish good soil moisture in the vineyards. We also experienced one of the coolest seasons on record, which resulted in a high percentage of smaller berries, generating lower yields and excellent flavour concentration.

Tolpuddle Vineyard Pinot Noir 2021

The grapes were all hand-picked and fermented as a combination of whole berries and whole bunches, in open fermenters, with gentle plunging. The wine was aged in French oak for nine months, of which approximately one third was new.

Ageing
It will reward careful ageing for up to 12 years.
