Fruity with earthy notes. Predominant aromas of black and red fruits such as plums, black cherries, blueberries and blackberries complemented by notes of violets, aromatic herbs, thyme and rosemary. Its balsamic touches define the character and complexity of high-altitude, cool-climate Malbecs.

Pleasant in the mouth with a very tasty and refreshing palate and a vibrant acidity. Medium-bodied, with juicy tannins that add strength and a long finish. Fruity and spicy aftertaste with earthy notes. A red wine true to its origin.
GROWING AND HARVESTING CONDITIONS: Minimal intervention of the terroir and gentle vinification define the complexity of Escorihuela Gascón's icon wines. The alluvial soils of the El Cepillo vineyard are deep and sandy loam with rocks rich in calcium carbonate (caliche).
The 2021 vintage was fresher than 2020, achieving wines with optimal phenolic ripeness. With a vibrant natural acidity that allowed us to obtain great wines for ageing and also with red fruits and a lot of freshness.
GRAPE VARIETY: 100% Malbec.
VINEYARD REGION: Plot 6, Finca El Cepillo, Uco Valley (single vineyard, organic and biodynamic plot wine).
WINE ANALYSIS: Alc/Vol: 13,2%.
MATURATION: Aged for 8 months in stainless steel tanks, followed by an additional 8 months in the bottle.
IDEAL TIME TO DRINK: 10 years.
LAST HARVEST: 2021.
