Malbec from a unique vineyard of Bodega Colomé, in the Calchaquíes Valleys (Salta), at an altitude of 2,300 meters. A tribute to the founders of the winery in 1831, it is made with low intervention, using traditional pressing and without passing through oak: ten months in tank and ten in bottle, to preserve the purity of the fruit. Intense color with aromas of cherry, blackberry, plum, currant and clove, and a mineral background. Firm and concentrated mouthfeel, with ripe and round tannins and fresh acidity. Year 2021. 14.5 % vol.

REAL MALBEC
Colomé "Authentic" is a tribute to our pioneers who planted the vineyards and founded the winery in 1831. Since then Bodega Colomé's vineyards have been farmed with sustainable agricultural practices to achieve an "authentic" expression of the terroir. The higher altitudes offer more sun, less UV protection and produce a thicker-skinned grape that delivers a robust flavour with fresh acidity. We understand that the natural expression of the soil is captured in our wines.
Harvested from the best plots of our vineyard located at 2300 metres above sea level, "Auténtico" is produced using ancient winemaking techniques such as piage and without oak aging to preserve the freshness and purity of the fruit.
