Head Wines Shiraz, The Blonde, from a single vineyard in the Stone Well parish, Barossa Valley (South Australia), with naturally low yields. Red clay and grey sand soils with limestone presence, which helps preserve acidity. Whole-vineyard fermentation with 3 % % Viognier skins; 17 months in French oak barrels of 300 liters, a third new. Dark cherry, blackberry, coffee and black chocolate nose. Medium to full body, with black fruit, toasted spices, mocha and smooth tannins. 2018 vintage. 14.0 % vol.
