Teusner Avatar Grenache Mataro Shiraz

Grenache, Mataro and Shiraz from Teusner, Avatar, Barossa Valley (South Australia), made with grapes from very old vineyards owned by growers such as the Riebke family. Designed as the “big brother” of Joshua, it is aged in old oak barrels, which act only as a seasoning to add complexity and savory nuances without hiding the fruit. The Grenache brings spices and red fruit; the Mataro, earthy notes and depth; the Shiraz, cherry and black fruit. Nose of red fruits, dark cherry and spices. Palate with notes of black chocolate and fine tannins. Year of bottling 2020.
