TERROIR:
Soil of alluvial origin with an upper layer of silty clay loam composition, and then in profile it is dominated by a conglomerate with abundant presence of pebbles and covered by a layer of calcium carbonate.
Malbec from barrack N° 4 with a depth of the top layer of about 60 cm.
Bonarda from barrack N° 2 with a top layer depth of about 40 cm.
Cabernet Sauvignon from barracks N° 7 with a depth of 40 cm and greater than 40 cm.

VINIFICATION:
Harvested in boxes of 20 kilos.
Harvest date: Malbec: End of March / Cabernet Sauvignon: Beginning of April / Bonarda:
Mid-April.
Winemaking: Traditional, fermented in cement vats, without epoxy. Cold pre-fermentative maceration for 3 days, working on the cap by pumping over and treading.
Fermentation temperature 25°C. Aged in 35 hl foudres, 500 lts. barrels and French oak casks for 18 months, 40% corresponds to new wood. Bottling date: 21st
June 2018. Keeping Potential: More than 10 years.

Bodega Vistalba was founded in Mendoza in 2003. It was built on one of the family estates and its name is a tribute to the land that gives it a home: the terroir of Vistalba.
