Antiyal

Antiyal

Antiyal is a family-run winery in the Maipo Valley, founded in 1996 by winemaker Alvaro Espinoza. As Chile’s first boutique winery, and the first 100% organic and biodynamic winery in South America, Antiyal produces low-intervention wines that capture the true potential of the Chilean terroir.

Winemaker

Alvaro Espinoza, an outstanding Latin American winemaker and a pioneer in organic and biodynamic viticulture, was chosen among the 30 most influential winemakers by Decanter magazine in 2015.

Terroir, Climate and Soil

Located 500 metres above sea level in the Maipo Valley, Antiyal benefits from volcanic soils and alluvial terraces. The Mediterranean climate, with warm summers and excellent ventilation, creates perfect conditions for low-yield vines that produce concentrated fruit, resulting in wines with intense aromatic profiles and complex tannins.
