Corte tinto de la línea Universo, la gama superior de Bodega Malma, en San Patricio del Chañar (Neuquén), Patagonia. Crianza de hasta doce meses en barricas de roble francés, en buena parte nuevas. Rojo intenso con matices púrpura; en nariz, ciruela madura, mora y frutos rojos, con especias, tabaco y una nota de vainilla. Boca de entrada amable, buena estructura y taninos pulidos por la madera, con un final largo. Añada 2019.

Sweet entry, with good volume and structure thanks to the tannins rounded by the play with the oak. A pleasant wine with a long finish.

VINEYARD
Region: San Patricio Del Chañar - Patagonia Argentina. Latitude: 39° S.
Climate: Wide temperature range. Low atmospheric humidity; constant winds and low precipitation.
Spring 2016: Dry and cold conditions resulted in low yields of highly concentrated fruit.
Summer 2017: Mild and dry. Prolonged autumn with no early frosts.
Soil type and composition: Aeolian sandy loam soil of 20 cm, with good drainage and fairly large rocks at depth. The soils have a very low organic content.

VINIFICATION
Varietal: 60% Cabernet Sauvignon - 40% Malbec
Fermentation: Hand-picked, destemmed and selected grapes. Traditional maceration and fermentation at 26-28°C for 28 days.
Ageing: 12 months in French oak.
